Hopefully she'll shed the John Williams influence, he's just way too uptight and clinical to be emulated. I'm not a Williams fan, obviously. Pasty, white, Protestant, Brits always forget the SOUL in their imitations of great art. Except maybe Jimmy Page. Jeff Beck? OK, he's great too. Tom Jones? I think he's Welsh. And Van Morrison is Irish, right? That's it, no other soulful Brits. I've run down the whole list - Page and Beck. Hold on, I forgot Duffy! She's cool. Anyone else?...Ah, Cat Stevens.
