On NYCMUSICSHOW, youll meet the fascinating personalities and up-and-coming artists behind the city's thriving, world-class local music scene. We scour the city, finding the coolest and most interesting talent and present it to our viewers in a fresh and engaging format. Part interview, part performance, part verité documentary along with some cool videos just for fun, NYCMUSICSHOW gives viewers unprecedented access to the people making the City's most exciting music.

You'll see great musicians with intriguing stories who are just plain fun to watch, regardless of their musical style. Were connected to virtually every music community in all five boroughs, from funk, rap and rock to metal, jazz, and everything in between. If its happening in New York, its on our radar.

The brainchild of David Schumacher, an award-winning musician-turned-TV producer, NYCMUSICSHOW is all about discovering whats new and exciting in New York music today: As a musician and music lover, I was frustrated with how difficult it was to keep up with the New York music scene. Id look at music listings
and have no idea who the majority of the bands were. My mission with NYCMUSICSHOW is to create a show
where music lovers can get more familiar with whats happening and whos who in our astoundingly great—
and largely undiscovered—local music scene. Hopefully it will be a place where viewers will get excited, get involved, and get inspired by whats happening right in their backyards.
