UCLA had lost to Ohio State 41-20 in the regular season pulls the upset of the 11-0 #1 ranked Buckeyes in the 62nd Rose Bowl game. Ohio State controlled the first half but only mustered 3 points. UCLA explodes for 23 points in the second half to win 23-10.

This is one of the greatest college football upsets of all time. Maybe someone from Ohio State or UCLA who played in the game will visit this and allow those of us who saw it live to ask a few questions.

Was Woody Hayes going to tell his players before they came out to play the second half that he was going to retire if they won? Dick Vermeil had a mutiny by his players because he worked them so hard in practice for this game.
