What is insulin resistance? What is type 2 diabetes or adult onset diabetes? Why do people become diabetic? What does insulin resistance have to do with obesity, weight gain and weight loss? Does eating too much fat really cause someone to gain weight? What diet is a risk factor for diabetes? How does the Atkins diet work? What is insulin and what does it do? • Do you want to keep injecting yourself? if not read on.

    Dr Neal Secrist said he has been able to get some people off of insulin and able to reduce insulin in others by up to 40% would you like to reduce your insulin by up to 40% using a natural product that also helps with weight loss and cholesterol?

  • @AppleSouffle I personally tried the atkins system and found it upset my digestion greatly and I had to stop because the toxins began to build up in my body. 'outwork'ing younger guys though does not give a full profile of how healthy you are nor how healthy the other guys you speak of are. I find eatting a variety of natural food is better for me personally and working out is always good for people. Everyone is different though and that is what makes nutrition and health interesting.

  • @beachxaddict Well actually, potatoes are broken down in the human body in much the same way as sugar. I know this to be true, as I am a person who has struggled with insulin resistance. Each time (without fail) I have eaten starch - ESPECIALLY potatoes - my system has reacted the same way as to sugar. That is, my blood sugar has spiked. You can easily measure this process with a glucose meter. If you are insulin resistant/diabetic, digesting foods with a High GI Load, can be detrimental.

  • I really love your Videos. I found your site while searching the main search url in youtube. More power.

  • Fat rebound? I totally don't believe you.

    I'm a huge fan of Doctor Robert Atkins! He's my hero! Without him, I would be diabetic and dragging through my days.

    I'm strong, full of energy and muscular. I can and have outworked guys who are more than 20 years younger than me.

  • so it is a chicken and egg question did the insulin resistance come first or the hyperinsulin that came first? what is ir is caused by malnutriton or toxic veg oils that get incorp into the cell matrix causing inflammation and cell death? or by all the dieting people do and their cells become damaged from self cannabalism from dieting?

  • LOL

    I dont know where you got your information from, maybe from that fake website you posted.

    Potatoes are mainly composed of starch, seeing how its a plant and all. Its when you fry it, and expose it to these high temperatures that the starch gets broken down and loses nutritional value.

    Starch (a polysaccharide) is broken down by the body at a slower rate. So those who consume have a better glycemic response and therefore dont store much of the broken down sugar as fat.

    Potatoes = GOOD.

  • potatoes are BAD. digest QUICKLY - my as well take sugar and inject it in your arm.

    truthknowlege. com

  • Yah foods like potatoes are good for you because it takes your body longer to break down that complex carbs, so its a steady release of energy.

    Simple carbs are broken down quicker so the body cannot process that much energy at once, so much of it is stored as fat.

    Eating the wrong kind of carbs too often will make you gain weight, but as a general rule for everyone is to not just load up on one food group but instead have a well balanced diet.
