  • You probably bought that 27" iMac model that came out late 2009 and it was lots of problem with the screen and the video card. that's why I normally recommend people to buy Applecare when they buy an new iMac. But you still can plugin another monitor to the iMac with an adaptor provided your problem is caused by the faulty screen. Apple should extend the warranty to 2 or 3 years.

  • No, it was a standard SATA hard drive. Yes, SSD does make a big difference on computer boot time and the software opening time. I personally installed 2010 single 6 core processor Mac Pro with 512GB SSD and it really flies and never seen it like that in my 15 years experience with Mac computers. But it costed extra $1,600 for that privilege. It depends how valuable your time is to spend that extra money. If it's within your budget and justify for the extra cost, then, it's highly recommended.

  • It takes the same time for Photoshop CS5 to open on my 2010 MacBook Pro 2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo :P

  • @lordblasfhemy I had to replace the power supply also about $120.00 and my model is a 2008 model but found out it had a 2009 part number in it now firgure that out someone bought it before me and broke and they fixed it and sold it back to me as a new one. Apple does not want you to know they got a bad bunch of couterfit parts from china

  • Imac piece of shit $ 1,600 I spent to buy a computer that i thought would last for years and after in the 13 month the monitor went bad what apple have to say well that is your problem a new monitor cost $ 800.00 dollars so it sits in the box it came in a piece of shit.

  • Do you have this iMac with SSD, or standard HDD?

  • @PauloDouradoPhoto woah.. imagine that.. you sit on a toilet and you poop in one third of a second.. I think I'd have a heart attack from the shock.

  • My MacBook (early 2008) opens PS CS4 in about 5 seconds, and on my Mac Pro (2x Xeon Nehalem 2.93GHz) it's there when you click the PS icon in the dock...but with 8 cores and 16 GB of RAM I would expect no less.

  • I'm sorry to say but this is a very lame video.
