i hope to make real friends soon, im not going to be on the internet very much from here on out. so i'l pretty much become the lonely boy again.

My parents constantly say that my online friends don't care about me and just pretend to be my friends. However, if said friends didn't care, why would they be honest with me and try to help me and bring me back to reality?

Like you said, there's another person on the other side of that computer. They might be a good person or a total jerk, but don't assume that everyone's the latter.

i gess i agree with you and peegai, most of my friends are online... ppl in real life don't quite like me and every nce in a while i meet someone wo does acept me for the fact i'm well.. .. kinda diff..

I wholeheartedly agree with your statement that friends are friends, no matter where you make 'em. I had a former friend online who let me down with her negative comments concerning internet friends, which therefore made me feel crap because I thought we got along well. It's nice to see that there are others who are open-minded as I am.
