Banksy In The West Bank

Banksy, the controversial and frequently hilarious graffiti artist visited the wall dividing Israel territory from Palestinian lands, and posted several pictures.
I apologise beforehand for the half-witted art critic from the Times with her puerile analogy between Blank Walls, Empty Canvasses and Red Rags to a Bull... silly cow!
Anyhow, Banksy is famed for using graffiti to highlight what he perceives are important political points and to be fair, is rarely wide of the mark. However, I think he may have overstepped the mark by referring to Palestine as being akin to Glastonbury!!
Good luck to him though, nobody could seriously argue that his art is in anyway detracting from the ugly, soulless architecture we are surrounded by.

Thanks for commenting. I get annoyed with art critics as they always seem to talk down to people. Art is one of those things that truly is each unto his own, and therefore some pretentious cow trying to explain what Banksy (or any other artist) is doing is self-defeating.

actually, the wall doesnt only protect israel agaisnt suicide bombs, but also missles and rockets. it is a great thing for israel, and maybe the palestinians should have thought of some of the consequences they would receive.
