And This is Why We Fight....

(*Our precious Taffy lost his battle this past Wednesday, August 10, 2011...his body just couldn't take the chemo & the cancer had spread into his mouth...we are beyond heartbroken...we had such hope & are just devastated that he is no longer with us. We buried him at the back of my parent's property as they live only 3 doors down & placed him near the woods he loved so much. I don't know how we will get thru this...he was such a light to our little family. I am happy he is no longer suffering & I do believe he will be waiting for us in Heaven...just so hard to get thru the days without him here...thank you to everyone for your prayers & support, it has meant the world to us. God bless!)

Our dog Taffy has been in a battle for his life this summer...he has Osteosarcoma, a VERY aggressive bone cancer in his face. We were winning the battle, but today found out that the tumor has grown & is now in his mouth. He had chemo today and we will know this week if he has any hope. Please keep him in your prayers...we love him so much & are not ready to say goodbye.

I am so sorry to hear Taffy has passed on,I found you from a web search because my baby Gigi has a lump in the same spot. I hope you still come on here. I so desperately want to talk to someone else that understands this problem. I loved your video of Taffy playing !!! One thing in the video I noticed was a sound a hear over my house many times a day, I bet you live near an airport. Could just be a coincidence but thought I should mention it. Gigi's cyst showed in 2010 then came back 1/5/2012

Bless his heart - he still had such a great spirit and happiness. We can learn so much from dogs. I'm so sorry you lost him.
