Here is a little tutorial about faking an extension on Microsoft Windows OS.
Windows give you the possibility to explorer a large amount of characters for each fonts using the "charmap" program, and one of these characters "U+202E" will cause a "bug" in the file name, because his goal is to reverse the string, then you can push a new fake extension after this strings, and the file explorer will still read it correctly, it is an illusion.
To make the illusion even better you can replace the basic exe icon by a mp3 icon :p
