  • Thanks! I thought this set was the highlight of an incredible run.

"Black Throated Wind>Dark Star>Easy to Slip."

Bobby referred to it being a "work in progress" both nights (second night Molo on drumz) so I think that is the name of the project. They also played (Molo version) last May at the Warfield. I think I have a clip of that somewhere...

Work In Progress: Bob Weir (accoustic), Phil Lesh - bass, and John Molo or Jay lane on drumz

  • '...in the midst of a storm i'd rather forget'...who writes lyrics like these anymore? timeless americana, to be sure, and something easy to relate to but profound like an iceberg for those unwary.

  • I was right in the front high out of my mind at this point

one of the best concerts i have ever been to

  • - Garcia + politicization of "the band" (i.e. endorsing Obama) = ghey shit

"For me, the lame part of the Sixties was the political part, the social part. The real part was the spiritual part." ~ Garcia

  • Bobby is an old cowboy from northern California
