MasterCraft Classic proudly offers this 1961 Ford Thunderbird. In very original condition this T Bird has 51,000 miles and has many options including power brakes, steering, power doors locks, power windows, and seats. The original 390 CI V8 runs and drives strong. The automatic transmission shifts as smooth as the engine runs making this a perfect daily driver or prime for restoration to show room floor condition. The most distinctive feature of this '61 T Bird is the highly touted "Swing Away" steering wheel. With the transmission in park the steering will slide 18 inches to the right allowing the driver to exit the vehicle easily. Nearly everything on this car is factory original and working. The Black paint and Red interior is a visually stunning combination. This is a two door , four seater with beautiful over stuffed and inviting red vinyl seats. Included is the rare fiberglass tonneau that is painted in the matching black body color that covers the 2 rear seats to give the appearance of a roadster rather than a 2+2 setup. The factory radio is installed and working and the wire rims just scream classic with the skinny white wall tires. 1961 saw fewer than 10,000 convertibles produced and far fewer fared as well as this one has over the years. A great car that you can't pass up. Call today for more details or to view the car in person.

Side trim is from a '62 probably because they wanted it to look more like a factory Roadster. Nice car!
