Oh good idea just google the model number and look for an IPB(illustrated parts breakdown) I would be suprised if you can't find it.

Just taking an old microwave apart and found the same thing. Remembering your utube I thought I would see if you had found any use?
Always enjoy your vids, and just to say it was your Magnet Motor that got me involved and building my own.

You are 100% correct. I just ripped one apart yesterday, and this "THING" was in between two doughnut magnets. I throw nothing away with out disecting it first, never know what you may find, or need someday. I understand that it makes an emf inside the 2 magnets, but not how that makes mirowaves. I'd love to know if you could explain it.
Much Respect.

Hello'
It is the end that plugs in to the transformer from the magnitron tube of a microwave. In the coil of copper is two magnitite tubes [switch to magnets on and off very fast] when electricity is connected. Adds in the microwave performance.
You also find two doughnut magnets in the magnitron tubes of any microwave.
Old shop tchr.

My guess, it looks like a capacitor. But I am unsure as to why there could be 4 leads.
I Also am not an electronics person, but I've take a microwave apart though! :D

It looks like a toy designed to show a spark between the wound coils.
all i can say is everyone here doesnt know crap bout electronics...
all these are is tiny inductors, choke coils to be precise
look up wikipedia "Choke (electronics)"
it keeps the high freq voltages from leaking out :)

It looks like something that'll burn your house down once you plug it in.
