New Year's festive dish in Japan, Osechiryouri おせち料理

Happy New Year ! ^_^

In Japan, we have osechiryouri and ozouni (soup with rice cake and vegetables and chiken) in the New Year's morning.　Osechi ryori is specially prepared New Year's food, arranged in lacquer boxes. Many of the delicacies inside are named in hopes for the families health and prosperity
