For sleights mostly I'd just use combos of Donald or Goofy and some other attack cards to get them out of the way, but not use up cards in my deck.

The way I did it was I'd keep all my high cards at the front and all my zeros at the very end so that when I would need a zero they were always two quick flips away while I could just spam high level attack cards to beat anything that's not a sleight.
