He didn't really have any signs of GERD other than the wheeze and strange squeaky noises he would make at night or when he was laying on his back. I thought he had laryngomalacia. At 6 wks, we took him to a pediatric ENT who performed a scope of his esophagus. He was diagnosed with GERD there and put on Prevacid Solutabs. The wheeze and squeaky noises improved very quickly. He turns 2 next week and has just been weaned off of the Prevacid in the last couple months and is doing great!
