  • This has to be a large animal. Or the pt has a serious cause of Cardiac Tamponade. That heart is just HUGE!

  • this is a human heart. and yes he had cardiac tamponade because he was stabbed in the chest which punctured his right ventricle.

  • lol I've been in many surgeries! Believe me when i say the whole thing isn't always usper serious... They stand there for hours and laugh and joke around to get through the time, sometimes music is playing. But they are serious and they get the jobs done.

  • First off, how is this not confidential? You can't tell who it is or even when it was filmed. Secondly, people laugh in the operating room all the time. You're just asleep when it happens.

  • deixa de onda, isso e um porco.

  • @bolonypwny : You see, whatever you do to your patient, a consent must ALWAYS be secured. In this case, even if its for educational purposes, a written consent (or at least in the video, a passage saying that consent was given) was shown. Furthermore, I believe that the patient is unaware of the video.

  • NO such a thing called HIPPA in the Philippines.

  • OH DAMN!

  • @merliot11 fucking liberals

  • basically bc even though there are no identifiers, the patient did not give consent for you to have video'd this. it's called patient autonomy. the same as if you were to practice intubations on a newly deceased patient. seemingly harmless bc they're not aware, but they also did not give permission.

  • @thirdy18

Why exactly is this a violation? It's posted for educational purposes. You have absolutely no way to identify the patient. I see nothing that violates HIPPA.

  • this is cool, did you ask your patient lol howd this video come about? im want to be a medical examiner and in 2 years i start med school(:
