Sorcerer is a really versatile class, coz it has a mix of good damage skills, plus a bunch of CCs abilities also. Indeed rangers and assassins are sorc's nemesis coz, among other reasons, their really high burst damage, they can blow up a Sorcerer in a few seconds.
