GOP Sen. John Eichelberger on LGBT couples: "We're allowing them to exist."
State Senator Daylin Leach (D) tries to talk sense, but Eichelberger just gets more and more outrageous in his bigotry.

I really think people are taking this totally out of context. He's probably, like most people who don't like gays, under the impression that people "turn" gay or "go" gay. He's saying that gays are allowed to be gay, like "we allow gays to exist" as opposed to "we force everyone to be straight". Not "we allow gays to exist" as opposed to "we exterminate them". It's still a ridiculous statement, but it's not the genocidal warspeech people are making it out to be.
Keystone Progress is mounting a serious and firm response to the open bigotry of Sen. Eichelberger. Everybody should listen to the audio of the show at the WHYY website (click Radio Times and search for the June 19th show) to get a sense of the full, grotesque scale of this outrage and then go right over to the Keystone Progress website and make a donation. PLEASE TAKE ACTION.
