some of you need to learn your history! Dr. Foster got his concepts from the Big 10 Bands (Michigan and Ohio State) and just "blackened it up" so FAMU has stolen thier style...secondly SU band is formed like many NO street jazz bands with thier feel for heavy brass, fiber tuba, and that percussion sound....its thier regional sound..that works for them. Not eveyone wants to be a marching symphony
