  • @stoneground1 I think I spent about $1,200. I followed Cncrouterparts 2x3 design, but I did cut a few corners. I had my dad weld the 2x4 base and provide the steel. I also used smaller 8020 aluminum on the gantry. The machine seems rigid enough to cut red oak and mdf. The carriages are great, but since I don't have a vac system dust gets on the rail for the y axis. So I have some flaps that catch most of the dust.

  • CNC Router Parts huh? Looks good! How much did this cost you to build? Minus the computer. Great speeds too!!! Thinking about building one about this size. How do you feel about those CNC Router Parts carriages? I like the 8020 aluminum also!!
