The Helm Wind is the only named wind in England - it is best known near Appleby in the Eden Valley, Cumbria, but we have a version in Mallerstang, at the Head of the Eden.

  • this doesn't seem like the helm wind to me, can you prove it?

  • Well, you can see the Helm bar, and both see and hear the effects of the wind. What more do you want - a movie of it removing slates from our roof? :-)
