HEAVEN on EARTH Reedsport Oregon Work or Play!

I intended this to be an ebay emporium, a commune of ebayers all in one building! In a town of 4300 people, 2 miles to the beach. A post office across the street in walking distance. The Mid Coast Mall backs to the public library and the Fire & Police station are across the street to the South. Its Mayberry accept wetter and without Andy Griffith. Today it has Artist and Antiques inside, tomorrow who knows? Its not to late if you want to work or play!

Then leave! I live in Los Angeles county with sirens each night and helicopters over head chasing gang bangers. Its a brown desert here! Traffic is severe and most commute 70 miles each way to down town Los Angeles.

Reedsport is what 4300 people? So green your eyes hurt, but then 75 inches of rain! Do you lock the doors of your car or home? How many homicides a year? Was your home broken into last year? Do you want to trade places?

What a hell hole, lived in Reedsport for 14 years and yet I can't seem to conjure up any fond memories of the place. After we left, they closed the paper mill, the lumber mill, you have to pay to park at the beach now, and nearly everybody is related to each other. I am so glad I wasn't born here, and especially glad we got the hell out.

They have good clam chowder in Reedsport...

They have a nice RV Marina there and the best quad riding on the Oregon Coast - but tough place to make a living I'm afraid.
