Model submarines at the 10th Brockwell Lido pool run held on 10th October 2010

These pool runs started back in 2008. They are aimed primarily at model submariners, providing the perfect environment of clear but deep water. Initially the events were free of charge, as we were permitted to use the facility in Autumn and Winter when the lido was shut to swimmers. We are now charged a modest hire fee, and the cost is split up amongst those attending. The more that attend, the lower the cost! Typically there are three Dive-ins each year, one in early Spring, one in Summer, and one in early Autumn.
