Certainly one of the best female racehorses of all time, and arguably ran some of the fastest races ever by a 3 year old filly. She won the 7 furlong Test Stakes in 1:21 flat, the 10 furlong Alabama(this race) nine days later in 2:00 and 4/5, and the 9 furlong Beldame in 1:45 and 4/5ths. Those are amazing times for older male horses, let alone a 3 year old filly! Bayakoa, the older female star of 1990 had crushed Goodbye Halo, Open Mind, and Gorgeous. Wand' and Bayakoa were 2 of the best ever.

Her run is just hynotizing. Her legs don't go for maximum stride yet she runs so fast.
