To be clear, the call for better simulation is independent of Yaron Brook, Freeman Dyson (although we agree) and the global warming discussion. As someone who has something to say about simulation science as a developing field, I think we should have better simulations and better simulation metaphysics to back up the better simulations. This is independent of the global warming discussion.

I think we can all agree that simulations need to improve before they can be used for scientific analysis of issues as complex as Global Climate Change. As it stands right now, they serve well for modeling possibilities, but I don't believe that computer simulations can really be called upon as proof. I think we agree on this, and we both would like to see a decrease in pollution, but for different reasons.

Interesting how space constraints will make you combine two unrelated thoughts into one sentence. By the by, in the previous comment, the portion of the last sentence after the first comma should actually be its own sentence.
