@wowluke1 Thanks. Merry Christmas, hope you get lots of goodies.

@toxicmusic79 Will be sure to watch that :) Merry Christmas btw ^^

@wowluke1 At some point I will be looking at lands that destroy lands and how those cards fitted in with the set they were released in and how they function against a wider card pool and also considering budget. So, for example, comparing Tectonic Edge vs Strip Mine vs Wasteland.

@toxicmusic79 I quite like tectonic plate for my burn deck.

Ah damn. Saw the Sliver deck in the book when you were flipping through the pages. That was the one deck that made me rage enough to quick Magic when they came out. Are people still using them?

@Demrush There was a all foil 'premium' Slivers deck that WOTC released a while ago. Had mainly singles of slivers through MTGs history. Didn't seem to sell as well as the other premium decks they released, but its price went up when Commander was released. I think people were building Sliver based Commander\EDH decks. I also noticed that some of the old sliver theme decks jumped in price.

I actually tried this deck out in cockatrice, then changed it around some, used infect creatures (kept the squatters though, pure gold), used cheaper spells (mind rot instead of mind warp) and some utility LD (befoul & wrecking ball), swapped X spells with devil's play (which worked well). Played it versus some recent modern decks, it did well. Anyways I love the idea of this as a video series, great idea (wish I'd done it with some of my decks) looking forward to see what you do with it.

@vorgralax Thanks for the feedback. This is what I was hoping someone would try as it gives me great ideas for the toolkit, that I do not pick up on search 'filters' or my collection. One reason I picked a 'toolkit' building theme is we can include loads of variants while not worrying about trying to initially keep an eye on the total number of cards as with a deck. Of course once we play around with the toolkit contents it should kick up some fun decks. Def want to try above esp. the infect.

@vorgralax Thanks for posting this. It's giving me a lot of inspiration. I was going through some look-ups for dual lands for the mana base and Dragonskull Summit hit my list as well. I was also looking at the more expensive Bloodstained Mire and wondering about landfall/fetchland variants. As I have said before, the use of infect in your deck is something that really interests me, and looking at your other choices has inspired me greatly. Excellent! I think I am going to need a bigger box :)
