Must not have had my camera fully engaged with the wrist mount. Snagged it on my rear riser and it poped loose at 3000'. Incredibaly some nice gentelman found it & returned it to the drop zone. Threw a fresh battery in it & it worked perfectly, not even a scratch on it.

  • Camera had no scratch on it but as for the unlucky person on the ground..

  • @stinkyminky95 During the drops from weather balloons at 80,000 ft, the cameras are usually encased in a styrofoam box included with an altimeter, and a GPS tracking device to find the camera later. But yeah, these cameras can take a pounding.
