Funny thing, cause I use these filters with my kit lens. Of course it's a little more adjusting, but no major trouble.

That's the kit lens...and the front of that lens rotates so you can't use cokin filters on that.

night? hahaha...man you don't know what you are saying... Google circular polarizer and you will find out. That filter does not have any effect at night, only when sun is present. Polarization effect will be most visible when camera is turned 90 degrees from sun. circular polarize filter removes reflections on water, etc... enhance colors and contrast.
