i think we all like the sounds that take back to a simpler time when live was like a flowing stream and maybe grandpa and grandma were close by and we all felt a certian sense of security with mom in the kitchen making an apple pie. thanks for the ol tyme song.

@tiredoldcrow so true...you got the right idea...would be so great if families could learn from the past. Where is Shiretown, AR.?

Thank you John! Dad has one cajun song listed called Cajun Fiddle, you might enjoy. Age has no boundries....it's neat to see these seniors going for it!!!!

There's a guy in Bremerton, WA who's 91 years old and he's just now learning to play cajun fiddle and is really getting after it. I'd say Jim has him beaten by only a little bit. You can tell the WA guy was really good in his youth, but has a lot of scrapes and scratches in his bowing. Jim does much better with the bow. I hope he lives to be a 193 and keeps on playing. John

Thank you Radar....He will be 93 in December...born 1916. With Dad living about 800 miles from me, we aren't able to do alot with the videos...but when we get together we try to make up for lost time....lol
