A lot of people at shows have wondered exactly how much this little locomotive can handle. The answer? Quite a bit. On our test track, one pulled 20 cars and another pulled 5 of our 3-Rail Master Line Gunderson Stack Cars filled with lead weights without slipping. The one could have pulled more than 20 easily, but we were limited by the loop of track we were running it on. Pick up one today and find out for yourself what the limits are.

  • Hi,

I just bought a 3 rail version of this great loco on ebay. I put it on my track and it runs fine but I can't access the reverse or sound features. What do I need to get these features to work? Thaqnks! God Bless, walt407

  • Hi Walt,

You should be able to access the sounds and direction from your transformer. What kind are you using?

  • man want this so much....cant though budget tight.... only thing that was available was the Lionel,O-gauge, Thomas and Circus Play set for my Little brother. With a 0-6-0 Loco(thomas), his 2 coaches, a free hat, 27"x36" Oval of 027 track, and a controller....this thing is OLD! The controller only has a speed dial and an outlets to plug in the power.....i need an upgrade

my point.....where can i get one of these under $10?

  • Very strong loco!! Can it crawl??

  • Thanks for your quick reply. I have been using an older Lionel set transformer. It only has a whistle button. This only made the engine go a little faster. Do I need a newer transformer? Thanks, God Bless, walt

  • Nice looking engine, great puller too!! Would also like to see a reasonably priced Diesel, made with, or without sounds those of us on low, or fixed incomes, have to make do with whatever we can afford, and the economy sure doesnt help any!!

  • I have the Santa Fe set and love it

    Southern set is on order

When will IR make a diesel?

  • Awesome!
