What amp are you using?

just a simple Vox Valvetronix ADV 15. Other vids do demonstrate it(namely the RS set up one...) and all the settings used...All played quietly too...

Hmmm. Sounds pretty good like Brian May in my opinion. I also do have his guitar, but not made myself ofcourse. Anyway im far from his sound with my Vox ad 60VT. Ah well i know your guitar is better but i hoped to get a bit of his sound.

Do you use a treble-booster as that helps too. Have you tried the amp settings that I opted for?Give that a whirl...it may help?

I do have a treble-booster on the ad60vt but i dont think its anything special. I also wanted to buy a Voxbm1 but it isnt being made anymore and also couldnt find one on second hand websites. I will check out the RS forum to see if that helps

The Vox VBM wasn't 'that' great. Don't think either that it'll help get a better 'treble-booster' effect for you. Bit like the Digitech BM pedal. people got them, then sold them...
A seperate TB would be the best option I believe. If you can get an Electrolead one that will do just the job. Many others 'claim' stuff but.....
The link is on my homepage
