Pedro recibe la noticia de que su hermano Tomás, al que no ve desde hace muchos años, se encuentra gravemente enfermo. A partir de ese momento comienza a recordar la causa del alejamiento durante tantos años, de su hermano, de su pueblo, de su pasado. Cuando al fin decide volver a su pueblo a reconciliarse con su hermano descubrirá que el regreso al pasado no es posible, aunque en ese viaje aprenderá a plantearse su vida futura de manera diferente.
Pedro is shaken when he learns his brother Tomas, he has not seen for many years, is seriously ill.

From that moment on he starts wondering why he has been for so long, so far away from his brother, his hometown, his past, his roots...

Pedro decides to go back to his village, where his brother still lives, to find a way to be reconciled with him.

But taking back the past is hardly possible. All he can do is learn to build up a brand new future life in a different and better way.
