  • Joan and I are quite saddened by the passing of Rae Louise Hayward. Our first meeting with her at an Richmnd Art Center meeting started us on a delightful and meaningful journey collaborating with the TAOLB community. We enjoyed working with her and quickly learned how her spirit was woven into every aspect of the TAOLB. We will miss her and take comfort in the fact that she will always be a presence in TAOLB.

  • To my fellow artists and TAOLB family, I offer this perspective: Heaven will be more beautiful with the addition of Rae's spirit, and TAOLB will thrive beyond our imaginations. She is now a true guardian angel, making sure that we have favor with God. She will continue to guide us from heaven and our "voices" will reach so much further. We will insure that TAOLB will live strong and that Rae's spirit will be available to encourage and inspire future artists.

  • Goodbye Rae...The world seems already colder and dimmer without your warmth and light.

  • Rae... I am so saddened about your passing. You are the nicest, sweetest and kindest person that I've met in my lifetime. I love you and will miss you forever. God Bless Sherry

  • Rae...you are loved and missed, and you will never be forgotten. You legacy will live on in t=all the lives you touched, in your wonderful arrt, and in TAOLB.

You have been a part of my life for 40 years, and I was so blessed to know you.

    RIP, dear one.

  • Rae Hayward was a friend of my family's for over 40 years. I had the pleasure of seeing her work with TAOLB several times, and she was an inspiration to me as an artist. I met Rae when I was about 9 years old and she was 18. I thought she was the most glamorous person I'd ever seen. She was also the nicest, most gracious and kindest person I've ever known. RIP, Rae. You are loved and missed.

  • Rae Louise Hayward was truly an amazing and talented woman who blessed the lives of so many, including myself with her warmth, encouragement, humor, art and her beautiful, beautiful spirit--she was a rare and splendid ray in our world. RIP

  • THANK YOU for this human story of accomplishment and possibility--and thanks to Rae Louise Hayward for all she's started and made possible for a world of us--including me.

  • She also has a great speaking voice for the subject matter
