@Nate I am not a great "climber" i don't think. I win races on the straights mostly. I won the auburn cat 5 race last year about the same way. Came around up the back and sprinted from the final turn. Nobody got away before the back stretch on the final lap. Best part about Auburn is the straight after the first descent. Flying!

Awesome. Only 5-6 %? that thing whipped me! Lasted 3-4 laps with the group for both 35+4/5 and E4... still a great day!

@lamborghini0420 Hey Andy, glad you found the video and were able to enjoy your victory! Great move on the back stretch to seal the deal :)

Hey yetanotherwoo, thats me up there. I would call my self a local, i grew up in Alta Sierra but i don't live there any more. I live in Costa Mesa down in Orange County. Spend most all my time around sea level. I just came up for the race and to visit with family. Great race though! Great day!
Great video! All the data is awesome to see. I did the earlier 35/4s race. I respectfully keep my opinion that it is a climber's course, however. I'll be subscribing.

@lamborghini0420 @yetanotherwoo I think the common misconception is that Auburn is a climbers course and it really isn't. It's a race that is easier for climbers initially because it takes less effort to get up the short climb, but when it really matters it's about laying down power on the backside or with a strong solo move...

@yetanotherwoo: I bet he's still skinny enough to look unhealthy in street clothes amongst non-cyclists, just a guess though.
@nate: If you could upload a custom video for me too that would be great. I'd like laps 2-5, 7-9, and then a tight zoom on the last corner showing Oliver and I sprinting for 6th and 7th (not incl. the front 5)...add a voice over that says it's "a sprint FTW" and then a 10 second disclaimer noting Oliver's A sample tested positive. Something for the fam, no rush!
