  • Oh, boy - I hurt just thinking about that much snow! (I do confess I have a discipline problem when it comes to bringing the shovel in, applying the treatment & remembering to put it in the back porch to get cold again, lol - a word of caution - use newspapers under the shovel to keep the floor from getting slick as well)

  • Wish I would have tried that this morning .... we rec'd 20+ inches this weekend! I'll keep the Pledge in mind later this week when we get the next storm :)

  • Cooking spray doesn't work; rub with furniture polish; let dry at room temp then keep the shovel where it's cold. (If the sun is shining while you're scooping, nothing will work.)

  • Thanks for the tip!

I've heard of using WD40; but I'm betting cooking spray is at least a little bit more environmentally friendly : )
