It's been TEN YEARS since the bomb went off in Las Vegas, Nevada.
After months of anticipation, a clock ticked to zero, crate walls exploded onto the floor, and smoke engulfed the area. Supportive friends and curious bystanders huddled in the tradeshow aisles and neighboring booths with temporarily impaired vision. Men in gas masks, clad in white jumpsuits, slowly removed tapestry from the walls, and when the smoke cleared we presented three unique board designs, a humble catalog, and a symbol on the wall.
We told people that the symbol was merely a metaphor. That our logo was in fact, "whatever you wanted it to be." We explained that the pie shaped pieces could be adjusted and what each piece referred to could change based on the person who wore it, what their priorities were, and what was important in their lives.
For us, the centerpiece has always represented snowboarding. It's our focal point, the common element that ties us together. It's easy to romanticize something that provides so much joy and yet comes with a risk. In many ways we feel the snowboarding experience is metaphorical for the important parts of life.
Consider the photo to the left.
Cale is young. He's a good kid with a good heart. He has things he wants to do and he's trying to figure out how to make them happen.
He has some obstacles to get over, and his landing is uncertain, but he dropped anyway because he believes in what he's doing.
This photo is a metaphor for the last ten years of CAPiTA. We've seen our share of challenges, and our future has never been certain. We made it here by doing one simple thing: making products we truly believe in, so you can believe in them too. Our pros don't ride secret constructions or special make- ups unavailable to the public. They ride the boards we sell, and we sell the best snowboards, for the best price, at the best retailers in the industry.
This photo also represents youth, passion, progression, style, dedication and durable, reliable product. For those reasons it's a metaphor for the future, and the future looks bright. Welcome to a new era and the next ten years of the CAPiTA SUPER CORPORATION.

@perelta is the 2007 used? Anything like that Capita would warranty but a board that old is more than likely used and after time and enough beatdowns is going to have some issues. Unfortunately its more than likely they will not warranty a board that old.

The Horrorscope:
can it take 50 ft jumps? that's the biggest they have at my park, and I wanna know if it can handle it, I don't want to change boards just for 1 jump. I'm 150 and 5' 11" and I want a high 140 (like a 147 or 149) for jibbing. And are the edges lifted? It looks so

@Wiscompton608 at your specs and looking into a board that short you are going to have a harder time on any larger jumps unless you put the landing gear down centered and smooth every time.

@PortersLars do you think the ultra fear would be better suited for that?
Wiscompton608 1 year ago
@Wiscompton608 the Ultra fear is going to be stiffer which will offer you more support on larger features and would be a better option for you if you are concerned about the Horrorscope being too soft.
