Scrappy Dappy Doo! This character was the best! I loved it when the whole gang was togther. Can't stand what the WB has done to this guy who kept the show going through the 80's.

Saturday Morning, will it ever be the same?

It's dumb, I have an action figure set with all of them, but I wish I had Scrappy to go along with it. along with is cancellation came the cease in production of all scrappy merchandise, the only things that might be available is expensive vintage collectibles.

Because it seemed that despite the fact that Scrappy saved the show for being cancelled, Scooby Fans blamed him for the show's decline. Therefore, when the series was relaunched, Scrappy was hardly if not ever seen again. Which is an shame, because he was the reason that Scooby had new episodes between 1979 to The 13 Ghost series. In a way, it did get off track from it's roots, but the bottom line was that Without Scrappy, Scooby's run might had ended in 1978.

"Because I, Scrappy-Dappy-Doo, will rule the world with my all-powerful army!"

Weird, but it's just hilarious to hear him say that.

While, due to the author (or family) copyright, the rights the Ruby-Spears series The Puppy's New Adventures episodes can't be seen anymore, I wish though that this series in it's full hour long package, can be seen these days. Instead of the sydicated Scooby titles that featured an slighty modify 1979 Scooby and Scrappy main title. But at least, this gives us an idea on how the orginial main title looked for the Scooby and Scrappy shorts final season.

About 13 years back, Puppy's New Adventures/Puppy's Further Adventures played on CBBC separately from Scooby Doo (It was either just before or just after Moomins cause they were taped together) and the ending credits always confused me cause it sounded exactly like Scooby Doo lol now I know why X)

Shame I cannot find anything of them though :/ I liked it and I've still got my old video tapes with quite a few episodes of them.... but they are old -_-
