@whitmorekid You should be able to know how to control your car with the clutch, stop and go traffic on a hill, your gonna have to pull the handbrake up and down alot of times. Better to get good then learn bad habits

Going up hill is so hard for me!! And my father makes it so much tougher on me! Every thing else is easy for me except up hills!! Damn hills... :[

easy, stick on D position, release the brake and accelerate

that's not lazy just free to choose

but you don't need the handbrake, just wait the clutch starts vibrating and release the brake and accelerate, this is how all driving schools teach in brazil and we all have to learn on manuals(no freedom here)

and yes l think everybody should know how to drive manual you don't need to be a expert driving but the basics
