@shipsbells Yes, I saw her video on it when they first posted it. But, she isn't quite as into it as Gretchen and Jim are. Gretchen HATES the Organ and choir, she once tried to tell of Frederick Swann.

Yet another amazing performance by the former professionally trained Crystal Cathedral Choir (directed by Don Neuen) and Hour or Power Orchestra (Directed by Marc Riley).

It's so sad that this kinda music is not there any more at Crystal Cathedral!!! I hope the choir, orchestra and Don Neuen could re-unite once more, even in another church - It can't just be over like that!!! In Jesus Name I PRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@shipsbells Robert Anthony, who loved the choir, said that he doesn't feel as though Sheila is to blame for the mess and instead Gretchen & James Penner are, as they run the TV ministry and had almost total control of the services.

To Sheila Schuller and the rest of the extended Schuller family and inlaws that sucked this ministry dry hear the great commision;

I watch this with a sad heart to know that there will never be music of this caliber in the CC ever again. Now they have that horrid praise band catcalling away with their hands akimbo. It probably won't improve when the new tenants take over the space than the current musical mess. I predict horrid nuns with guitars screeching liturgical repositories into the microphones from the altar with no real choir and no real music. Pray God I am wrong.

@Sesquiltera I am saddened and disappointed that the once magnificent of the Crystal Cathedral Choir no longer praises GOD with their rich and melodious voices. Sheila Schuller did what she thought was best. And even though we may not agree with her direction, we are to pray that GOD's will be done.

That being said, I no longer tune in, myself. I cannot bear to see or hear the "praise team" with its monochromatic droning; people singing in church because they cannot sing at the club.

Under the direction of Don Neuen the choir sounded really great, it's a shame that he had to leave after Sheila Schuller's judgemental reaction to the professionaly paid choirmembers. She is ruining the Crystal Cathedral with her "lift your hands happy slappy joy joy evangelical biggot" buffoonery. She also chased away R.Schuller junior calling his sermons not anointed, Schuller jr. gave an extensive interview about this I was hartbroken and sad.
