  • If an indicted drug dealer gave $1,000,000 to a charity, do you believe that the person deserves to be set free? The person did a good deed for the Houston community. The person helped feed the homeless or minorities pay for college with a $1,000,000 donation. Isn't that what the Houston media is saying about the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo? In health classes, does the teacher say alcohol is considfered a drug? Make Astrodome a muti-level bar (1/2) with jail (1/2) to help overcrowding.

  • @TheProuddaddy2009 i was born & rasied here. it's historic to me. i hate to see it rotting away. They need to make it a convention center and hotel

  • any of the indoor stadiums are crap.

baseball is meant to be played outdoors not indoors.

anyone who thinks the astrodome is historic are morons.

get a real team your franchise, seattle and texas are a joke maybe in another 50 years the astros might actaully win a world series.

both your new stadium and the old ones are worthless move that team out of houston they might have a better chance on winning

  • @TheProuddaddy2009 its more historic than that shitty yankee stadium, yankee stadium just old, just because the yankees played there doesnt' mean shit, Astodome inovated and changed the dynamics of buildings and sports arenas. Giving the first indoor stadium and the first animated video , that was unseen at that time...one of the biggest turists attractions in the world. Its an American Icon and a National Landmark! aka "Eight wonder of the Word" a loy better than the "house of bade built."

  • your all comparing the empire stae building or the the Statue of Liberty to the astrodome not even close someone on here compared yankee stadium to the astrodome not even close just tear that piec of shit down

  • @MuppetShowManiac the empire state building is privately owned and has paying customers (tenants/tourists), if it was an empty building - like the dome - it wouldn't last long. ny lost an "icon" 9/11 and wasn't devastated.

  • 6 people want to see the Astrodome used again

  • BRING IT BACK! Don't care if it costs millions, don't demolish the icon of a city! it's like Houston's Empire State Building. If New York lost it's icon, it would be devastated.

  • If you think you have it bad with the Astrodome, Houston, don't move to Pontiac, MI!

  • i think that monster jam and all motor sports should go back to it. reliant stadium sucks. over charging reliant energy can have that big piec of shit.
