  • worst washer I have ever had. So much foe getting anything clean, especially large items!!!!!

  • The Hydrowave wash system is the worst washing machine. I read the instructions & placed the right amount of he detergent in 1st. I have to wash my clothes TWICE just 2 get them clean. The 1st wash doesn’t rinse the ‘he detergent’ from the clothes so everything comes out with a soap residue on it therefore, I have to HAND rotate everything in the machine & wash the clothes again with NO detergent for a 2nd wash just to get the soap out because the ‘rain system’ is inadequate at rinsing out soap.

  • @Im2prissy4u Sorry for your frustration. Please email the details to eresponse@ge.com and we'll see how we can help. Thanks, Megan

  • Just bought the Infusor with no water setting, only the Precise-fill option. The clothes do get knotted up and therefore dont get the inside of the knots clean. The solution is to buy a washer with water filling options or...dont fill the washer with as many clothes as before. Mixing heavy clothes (towels, jeans) with lighter weight items seems to help. It is very quiet and if you don't wash many clothes, this is great. Why the large basket for 1/2 full washing, I don't know.

Be grateful you have the ability to set the water level. I have a different GEmodel with no load size indicator, only the water sensor, and totally HATE it. I can't prefill the wash tub, so can't safely add bleach or sizing (i do a lot of quilting), and my clothes come out looking as though they were tied in knots and run over by a truck. I concur with scqqtn....never again. Did I mention delivery of the wrong dryer--not a match to my washer?

  • I have a GE GLWN5050M that is the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned. This "infusor technology" is a load of crap. All it does is knot the clothes up and the dirt is inside the knotted clothes so they don't get clean. Doesn't rinse well either. My son's black pants come out with dirty gray streaks all over them. I can't believe I was taken in by this and bought this washer. I am extremely unhappy and will never buy another GE appliance !

  • The ge hydrowave is one of my best selling units at abc warehouse. I have profile 8150 myself and love the units.

  • I do like this washer but it does take some getting used to. I've found that it works best if you fill the tub no more than half full.
