Robot Bartender Fail

This is a robotic's class project by some friends of mine. It's a bartender robot that charges for the drinks then gives you different choices of drinks, then after making the drinks it hands it over and cleans up any mess on the table. Everything looks great right until the robot hands over the drink, the person who is grabbing the cup gets one of his fingers stuck between the wooden frame of the laser sensor and the metal plyers and he desperately yank the drink from the robot's arm.
