  • would you say the chains help you with the snow

  • @thecarguy9195 I didn't have chains on here. just AG tires filled with washer fluid. It's been my experience that weight helps more than chains, untill we get ice, then chains are necessary. I do use chains now.

  • fine machine you got there!

  • Thanks. It belongs to someone near lake Erie now though. I will miss it. This year I will be using a 1967 Sears Suburban 10. Let it snow, let it snow, Let it snow!!!

  • @iflyfoam well i have some chains. they work pretty well but thanks for the advice. check my vids out sometime i have a cub 149. i have some plow vids 2. k have a great day

  • @iflyfoam alright thanks, we were planning on doing something like that!

  • @powerstrokediesel100 Weight box, Good! I add weight to just about any tractor in this order. Fill the tires first. I used washer fluid in this cub, but had the most recent set, on a sears, filled with Rim Guard. (google it, it's good stuff). Then wheel weights. Then any thing you want hanging off of the back. Weight box, suitcase weights, or I have a 3pt tiller I use if I really need it. A 55 gal drum would probably be too much though. =) I have about 500 ish pounds on my sears and its plenty.

  • @iflyfoam i have an allis chalmers 410 that i plow snow with, im considering building a weight box for the back, would you reccomend it, we live in the hills so theres alot of places to slide into, my dad said he wouldnt reccomend it because he took a 55gal. drum full of cement(1600lbs) and put it in the back of his 78' F250 plow truck and slid off the road and he pulled out the truck with a backhoe(the 410 has ags on it) what would your take be on a weight box

  • nice machine, its a keeper

  • plowing pretty good there; I am impressed

  • You got rid of a Cub Cadet 149 for a Sears Suburban 10? Ut oh, let us know how that works out! Lol! Nice vid by the way. 5 stars.

  • lol, i usually dont care for cubs, but that is a nice one!!!
