I purchased a Wurlitzer 1900 from Tony Holmes years ago, and it still sounds great today. Great man, what Tony dosen't know about jukeboxes isn't worth knowing. From another Tony (ex Derby)
excellent carry on the great work!!!!!!!! my sons only 6 he loves selecting records on our seeburg we use the machine weekly. ilove these old machines they have so much style about them any thing from the fifteys is great.
Just want to add that I'm happy with my Rock-Ola juke and so are my grand children. Girls of 1.5 and 3.5 years of age.
The youngest runs into our living room and immediately urges me or my wife to switch on the juke.
She knows where to find the switch on the back of the machine and once we switched it on, she grabs her own chair to climb to the required height, make her own "choice" on the buttons and play a single.
There certainly wouldn't be many kids nowadays who know what a juke box is!!
This is absolutely the best promo film I have ever seen on this subject. This film shows what was possible in those days. Lovely pieces of old-fashioned technique!
What a wonderful compilation of nostalgic music machines, artists and songs from an era that is sadly dismissed by todays techno-tronic!
Luckily there are many people out there that have chosen not to abandon these great machines!
Juke box lovers, never stop saving those great time pieces for everyone to see in future.
