Why is it that everyone assumes you are gay if you don't like gays. Would you say the same thing about people who don't like green beans. McKelway should have just cut the interview short and screamed "I'm a bigot! I'm a bigot! over and over for 60 seconds, then stroll over to Fox News and fill out an employment app. If you can't understand why someone who fights against gay rights but IS in fact a closeted gay should be outed, you're too stupid to hold down a media job for anyone but Fox News. Which, in fact, is where McKelway is now. Good riddance...

Doug McKelway was utterly unprofessional in his interview; a man out of control, and certainly not acting as a journalist. He did not come across as passionate, but possessed. The question is: Why? He made even his co-anchor uncomfortable. The flushing of his face and pursing of his lips were embarassingly inexplicable.
