Something doesnt seem right I think its the rythem player

sorry, should have read Stichfam post first. The 6118 model looks exactly the same.
-
It's not an electromatic, it's a 6118. Made in the Japan Gretsch factory. It has filtertron pickups where as the 5120 electromatic models have Dearmond 2000 single coils. The electromatics are a fine instrument nonetheless.

Great tone, man! Is that an American made Gretsch or one of those made in the Far East? - Electromatic I think they are called - If that's an electromatic I'll surely buy one soon ... You gave me G.A.S., dude!

Is that you playing the guitar? What year anni is it? Are those filtertrons? Do you have any pictures?
One again great stuff, really wish I could see that in person but im down under ;-)
Very nice playing! What string brand and gauge do you use? I also have an Anni and play similar styles but can't find a string gauge, or maybe brand(?) that I feel comfortable.

Cruisy tune man!
Gotta love the Anniversary, what amp/effects did you use to get that tone? And are they the standard Filterton pickups? Wish my Gretsch sung like that!

Hi Deanosplemoni, Many Thanks! I just use a 70's Fender Princeton Reverb Amp straight with a little Reverb. The Gretsch is a 1960 but has Filtertrons from the 80's (new old stock)
