We Love Katamari Gingerbread House

Here's the gingerbread house.

The main purpose of this video is sightseeing, but I do end up with a large diameter too. I used the 'trick' of playing on a save file where the Royal Present is not yet collected, so that I can get the present and add to my diameter that way. Using that, it just seems random where your final diameter is from 2m96cm9mm up to 2m97cm4mm.

One thing I would sure like to see would be a good speedrun of the Sweet Meadow stage. I bet somebody like matthew69 or Lo7 could finish with 1376 tiles when the game still says they have 3 minutes left! (or at least come close)

it's been a while since i played but i don't remember the king going "x seconds left" instead of "1 minute left"? hmm. oh yeah great playing XD i thought the beginning when you crashed into the house was great!

Yeah, the King usually goes "1 minute left." If he's in the middle of saying something else when there's a minute left, once he's done he'll say a certain number of seconds left.

It took me a lot of tries before I got all the candy.

Believe it or not, the first time I played the level I didn't even figure out you could pick up the candy that makes up the house! I just rolled around the outside of the house. I passed the stage, but with like 24% of the candies (lol).

good, but i was thinking tilt both wii rwemote and nunchuck in the way you want to go, nunchuck buttons control camera, shake both for quick dash, and wii remote buttons take care of the rest.

Actually, the nunchuck/wiimote sounds like the best way to do it besides the classic controller. Shake em up and down real fast for a charge, point the wiimote at the screen and go right if you're right handed, and point the nunchuck to go left, and both to go straight. then like c or b would be the flip thing where you click both analog sticks.

huh. never thought of that. i only thought of wii remote, wii/nunchuck, gc controller, and classic controller. maybe they might make special wii gloves to give you a better "rolling" felling if they are smart enough to make it for wii.
