Man, this is one of the nicest Moggy rods I've ever seen - I've always wanted to chop and V8 a Mog but this newly enforced IVA test bollocks means its unlikely unless I want to end up on a Q plate. Bloody good job mate!
Change up the exhaust though... needs a Cherry Bomb on it to take out the high frequencies and give it that proper V8 rumble! :D

It is in fact precisely the same engine! Rover bought the tooling from GM in the late '60s, after the General determined the little engine to be much too costly (steel and iron companies ruled the US auto makers at the time, in addition to gasket sealing issues and coolant-caused corrosion). We created it, the Brits perfected it and made it commercially viable. Google it sometime! The history is quite facinating.
