Project Muslimgauze was formed in 1982 as a response to the Israeli invasion of Lebanon, "- said Bryn Jones, founder of the project, its leader, author and sole performer. It is in fact turning 1982 and he began recording his music, inspired by events in the Middle East, Central Asia, Afghanistan and the Caucasus, hiding under a pseudonym Muslimgauze - veil. Every track, every album - a kind of answer to what happened and feel the author himself.
Hyperactivity allows it to operate at a speed of "Katyusha rocket launcher" - for 17 years he recorded over 130 LP, EP, CD and DAT album of his mysterious and inexplicable music. Each album is made in his own style - this dub and trance, ambient and minimal techno, and reggae, and derivatives of these styles.
Early albums Bryn Jones distinguished using only analog equipment, more alive and dingy sound and using lots of live instruments - tabla, bongo, and cassettes with a beautiful voice samples and effects. On later albums in the course went all that we could take the form of sound.
