  • Thank you so much, that's is a very good ideea 5*. I love your cam, are you satisfied with that Sony HVR-HD1000 ? That cam is on my ''Wish List'' and i wanna talk with someone that have. Is good, are you happy with that cam ? What else would you recommend ? Thanks anyway, and I waiting for a answer (sorry for my probably bad english)

  • @butoias20072007

i am soooo happy with this cam. my dream have come true :D

  • have you tried using ankle weights? seems that would be the best option for a weight replacement, while still having the monopod usability. An adjustable horizontal arm would probably help a lot with panning as well.

  • thanks for tips. yeah, i have not tryed it out more after this video, but a horizontal arm would probably help alot. if you look closer on the video; the shot goes from side to side all the time.... :D

  • I can't get how exactly did you attach the weight on the end of the monopod. Did you use any extra gimmick to make it fixed? I have the 694CX model... can you please elaborate?

  • you have to check that the rubber at the end fits the counterweight. and just put it on.

  • yyyyeeeaaah! :D with this camera everybody is poor jajaj :P nice idea man ;) how mnuch weight u put in monopod?

  • I've had some bad experiences attempting to make one of these designs. I've been so much happier using my Cam Caddie, $38 was well worth obtaining consistently smooth shots on a sturdy camera stabilizer.

  • @lighter4ever Omgggg, HY, I order the mailbox and I found the answer to this post, then I realized how much I have evolved on knowledge of camcorders in one year (because i remaind me the moment when i write that question, one year ago in comparation with what i learn) ... do you have the camera ? you filming ?

  • instead of using a weighted metal plate, would say, a ankle or wrist weight work? it probably would be easier to attach to the bottom of the monopod since ankle weights have strap on velcro.

  • what weight did you use to counter the camera? im guessing the weight should be about the same as the camera

  • @venerojo the steady cam. A grip really doesn't do anything.

  • how heavy is the counter weight?

  • @Genesimmonsrocks Ahaaa, thanks fort the information. I will compare them and i will decide :). Thnaks again. Be good, butoias20072007

  • @butoias20072007 Dude... Dont get the sony hvr hd 1000. Get the Canon Rebel t2i. Its half the price and A LOT better quality
